Walk the Sacred Path in the Mountains of Spain
Rising again through mercy and perseverance.
Jesus collapses beneath the crushing burden of humanity's sins. Our Lady at Garabandal warned that the cup of divine justice is filling—each unrepented sin adds weight to Christ's cross. This fall teaches us humility: we cannot stand on our own merit.
Garabandal Message: "We must make many sacrifices and perform much penance."
Despite His resolve, Jesus falls again. We return to the same sins, the same failures. Yet Heaven's patience persists—Our Lady appeared over 2,000 times at Garabandal, never tiring of calling souls to conversion. Each rise is a new chance for mercy.
Garabandal Message: "If you ask His forgiveness with a sincere heart, He will pardon you."
Utterly exhausted, Jesus falls completely. This is the fall that precedes triumph—total abandonment to the Father's will. The Garabandal prophecies promise that after darkness comes the Warning, then the Miracle. We must persevere to the end.
Garabandal Message: "The cup is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us."
The visionaries at Garabandal underwent what they called "the night of the screams" on multiple occasions. During these episodes, the girls would cry out in terror at what they were being shown, including visions of hell and the coming Chastisement if humanity did not convert. Witnesses reported that the screams were blood-curdling and that the girls' anguish was palpable. These experiences profoundly affected the visionaries, instilling in them a deep desire to pray and sacrifice for the salvation of souls, particularly priests whom Mary said were leading many to perdition.
Our Lady stated: "If you ask His forgiveness with a sincere heart, He will pardon you." This promise of mercy offers hope to every sinner, no matter how grave their sins or how many times they have fallen. The key is sincerity—a genuine desire to change, not merely regret at being caught or fear of punishment. God searches the heart and responds to authentic contrition with boundless mercy. The message emphasizes that God's will is always to save, never to condemn, but He respects human freedom to reject His grace.
According to the visionaries, during the Warning, some people will die from the shock of seeing the true state of their souls. The sudden illumination of conscience will be so overwhelming that those with particularly heavy sin burdens or those unprepared for the spiritual reality will suffer heart failure or other fatal reactions. However, the visionaries noted that it would be better for people to die during the Warning than to die unrepentant during the Chastisement, as those who die during the Warning still have the chance for a final act of contrition.
